Job Description

• Unit: 5A (Medical – Surgical)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed

Patient Care

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Patient Population: Serves all ages
• EHR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • BLS
  • HWC (available on-site)
  • NIH
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a medical-surgical setting
• Education: Required certification/licensure to work as an RN in Virginia

• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Tuesdays
• Drug Screening: Random drug screens on-site; consent required for screening
