Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

⏱️ Schedule & Shift

Shift Type: Days
Hours: 3x12 hrs / 36 hrs per week
No Call
Every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation if scheduled

Holiday Policy (2025):

Must work 2 of 3: Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving
Max 1 day request off between:
- Nov 26–Nov 30, 2025
- Dec 23, 2025–Jan 2, 2026

🧸 Unit Details

12-bed private-room PICU (newly designed in 2017)
Pediatric Transport Team on site
Family-centered care environment
State-of-the-art monitoring and ceiling boom equipment

🧬 Floating Requirements

Must be willing to float to NICU
- Will care for “feeders & growers”—not highest-acuity micro-preemies
May float to ED patient holds

✔️ Submission Requirements

2+ years recent PICU experience
EPIC experience required
PALS (AHA)
Able/willing to float as noted
