Med Surg Tele RN | Akron, OH | Days

This is a 25-bed Unit Med-Surg/Tele acuity adaptable unit. ACLS/BLS required. The ratios will vary based on patient level of care needs. (1:5 to 1:6) Looking for Med/Surg trained nurses with telemetry capabilities AND at least 2 + years of recent MS/TELE experience. Recent EPIC and Phlebotomy experience (within last 12 months) also required. Floating is required as necessary and is based on census and available staff. Charge RN experience highly preferred but not required. Must be willing to train on charge. Charge nurse Role: takes a patient assignment, Pyxis checks, crash cart checks, assign admissions, liaison to supervisor, assign breaks and meals, makes assignment based on care needs for next shift. 

BLS, ACLS required

Must have 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience

Phlebotomy experience within the last year

EPIC experience required

36 hours per week | 3x12s | 7:00am - 7:30pm
