Respiratory Therapist – Travel Assignment Location: Aspirus Langlade Hospital – Antigo, WI Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Radius Rule: 50-mile rule (expires 11/27) Shift & Scheduling Shift: 12-hour variable days/nights Weekends: Every other weekend Holidays: As needed On Call / Call Back: Not applicable Float Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas, including: Emergency Department OB (live births attended) General care units Certifications & Requirements Required Certifications: AHA BLS ACLS NRP NBRC RRT License: Active Wisconsin RT license required Education: Associate Degree Experience: Minimum 2 years required Previous travel experience preferred Unit-Specific Skills Respiratory care across all age groups Critical care & ventilator management Patient assessment using Assess & Treat Protocols Emergency response: Rapid Response, Code Blue C-section assistance (NRP) Support for ED, OB, and general units Strong work ethic, adaptable to change, team-oriented Dress Code Closed-toe shoes Scrubs (any color) Clean appearance No smoking or scents permitted Additional Notes GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week. Traveler is guaranteed weekly hours except for holidays when the unit is closed. Contract includes 36 hours of unbillable low-census allowance: Travelers may be placed on call for low census. On-call hours count toward the 36 unbillable hours. If called back, call-back pay will apply.
