Job Title: Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER) Facility: Jackson Purchase Medical Center, Mayfield, KY Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMOverview: Jackson Purchase Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced acute care environment, ensuring safety and efficiency in all aspects of emergency nursing practice.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage in the ER setting.</li><li>Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.</li><li>Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.</li><li>Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.</li><li>Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.</li><li>Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or compact state eligibility.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required.</li><li>Candidates with combined ICU and ED experience will also be considered.</li><li>BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred.</li><li>Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Assignment Details:<ul><li>Travel contract position</li><li>Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM</li></ul>
