Job Description: MRI Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC. This role involves performing MRI scans for both adult and pediatric patients, with a strong emphasis on pediatric imaging. Candidates must be proficient in working with GE and Siemens equipment (1.5T and 3T) and demonstrate expertise in inpatient and outpatient MRI procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, neonates, stroke, and trauma cases
Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment (1.5T and 3T) with precision and safety
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
Maintain compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols
Document procedures and patient information accurately
Provide compassionate care and support to pediatric patients and their families

Minimum Qualifications

Certified Radiologic Technologist through ARRT (ARRT MR and ARRT R required; ARMRIT not accepted)
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
Strong pediatric imaging experience (Children’s Hospital experience preferred)
Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday (10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
No call requirement
