Description

Schedule & Requirements:

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, every other weekend
Position: Cardiac Telemetry RN (Stepdown/PCU experience preferred)
Required for Submission:
- Completed Telemetry Skills Checklist
- BLS and ACLS certifications

Required Experience:
Must have prior experience in a Cardiac Telemetry department, including:

TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clips
Heart catheterizations
Pre-op/Post-op open heart patients (after transfer from CVICU)
Cardiac IV and PO medications
Experience with cardiac drips at a flat rate:
- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Lidocaine, Milrinone, Heparin, Insulin
Anticoagulants
CHF, Chest Pain, Arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE
Post-op CABG patients (greater than 3 days post-op)
Sepsis, Pneumonia, Stroke, Observation patients
TR Band usage and groin site management
Familiarity with related complications
