Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of nursing experience
BLS certification required
ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers

Job Description

Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
Perform various patient tests and administer medications within RN scope of practice
Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department

48-hour guarantees are not approved
