Description
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
The ICU RN provides direct care to critically ill adult patients, including continuous monitoring, complex interventions, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team in a high acuity hospital setting.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring for critically ill patients
• Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and titrated medications per provider orders
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and participate in rapid response and code situations
Requirements
• Active RN license in state of practice or compact
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or critical care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
