<h2><strong>Job Duties</strong></h2><ul><li>Perform MRI examinations on <strong>GE MRI scanners</strong> in a Level 1 trauma environment.</li><li>Prepare and position patients; explain scan procedures to ensure comfort and compliance.</li><li>Start IVs for contrast studies when required.</li><li>Coordinate with physicians to ensure timely delivery of diagnostic images.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality.</li><li>Uphold MRI safety standards and maintain a clean, organized scan area.</li><li>Participate in <strong>holidays, on-call shifts, and callback</strong> per unit needs.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>2 years MRI experience</strong>.</li><li><strong>GE scanner experience</strong> (non-negotiable).</li><li><strong>BLS – American Heart Association</strong>.</li><li><strong>New York State license</strong>.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods; familiarity with medical terminology.</li><li><strong>ARRT (MR) or equivalent certification</strong> (must be willing to obtain if not current).</li></ul>
