Description

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

The Labor and Delivery RN provides comprehensive care to laboring, birthing, and immediate postpartum patients, supporting safe deliveries and positive birth experiences in a fast paced maternal newborn setting.

Responsibilities
• Perform maternal and fetal assessments, triage patients, and provide continuous monitoring during labor
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births, administer medications, and support pain management
• Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care, patient education, and accurate documentation in the EMR

Requirements
• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
