Neuro IR Tech
Shift: 4x10 days
As we are a procedural area the work is not always complete at the end of their scheduled shift. The expectation is once a week the agency technologist may be designated to stay past the end of the shift if we have procedures to be completed. We refer to this as ?Backup.?
Neuro-Interventional Radiology performs diagnostic cerebral angiograms to include coiling, stenting, embolizations & stroke thrombectomys. Additionally we perform venous samplings, operating room angiograms, lumbar punctures and other neurovascular related procedures.
REQUIRED: C-Arm, Contrast
Certs required: ARRT R and BLS required, ARRT VI preferred.
Daily Caseload per tech: 6-8 procedures/employee

First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes- with 2 years of experience
Weekend REQ: every 5th or 6th Saturday 0800-1600 as needed.
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) Call is 1600-0730 during the week and Weekend call is Friday 1600 through Monday 0730
Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes - within service line

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned
Special Requirements: Neuro-Interventional Radiology performs diagnostic cerebral angiograms to include coiling, stenting, embolizations & stroke thrombectomys. Additionally we perform venous samplings, operating room angiograms, lumbar punctures and other neurovascular related procedures. You will work with team of neuroradiologist and neurosurgeons from WashU.
This department does perform some pediatric procedures.
The Neuro-Interventional technologist will be operating a Siemens Bi-plane, to include positioning for neurovascular image acquisition, post processing images, and circulating cases. Scrub experience is not required.
