Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist Facility: Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AMOverview: Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and high-quality imaging results.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform general, vascular, abdominal, obstetric, and other ultrasound examinations as ordered.</li><li>Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes clearly.</li><li>Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and quality control.</li><li>Document and analyze imaging results for physician interpretation.</li><li>Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.</li><li>Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Provide compassionate patient care and ensure safety throughout procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.</li><li>Current ARDMS certification required (AB, OB/GYN, or Vascular preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and patient positioning.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently on night shifts in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Assignment Details:<ul><li>Travel contract position</li><li>Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM</li></ul>
