Description

Deal Breakers:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent LPN/LVN Med-Surg experience
  • Must have active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license
  • Must be willing to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
  • Must have current BLS certification

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Travel LPN to join the Float Pool team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across multiple units as needed. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across various Med-Surg units
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with assessments, wound care, and basic treatments under RN supervision
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection-control standards
  • Support patients and families with education and updates
  • Float to multiple units as assigned

Required Certifications:

  • Active LPN/LVN License (State or Compact)
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
