Job Summary -:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse – Operating Room to join our surgical team. You must have an active RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Our ideal candidate is experienced in perioperative nursing, can provide safe and compassionate care before, during, and after surgical procedures, and coordinates effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You must be familiar with surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and medical terminology, and be able to stand for extended periods during procedures.
 

Job Responsibilities-:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care
• Document all procedures accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized operating room environment
• Perform patient care tasks as needed

Requirements -:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
• Trauma Experience: Level I preferred | Level II preferred
• Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
• License: Active California RN license
• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (required)
• Charting System: Epic (preferred)

• Must Scrub: Yes – General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, Robotics
