Description

Responsibilities
• Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing General, GYN (including robotics), Plastics (reconstruction – breasts and eyes), Ortho (total joints, trauma ortho, neuro spine; excluding pelvis), DaVinci, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Pediatric same-day surgeries (eyes, tonsils, arthroscopy)
• Assist with room turnover and collaborate with OR techs and charge nurses
• Adhere to EMR documentation using Epic
• Follow unit policies, norms, and system values
• Complete 1 week of unit/department-specific orientation as outlined by the educator
• Participate in call coverage only as needed for vacation or time-off coverage
• Follow provided scrub and OR dress code

Requirements

Experience
• Minimum 2 years OR experience required

Licenses & Certifications
• RN
• BLS

Education
• Completion of an accredited RN program
