LOCAL ONLY, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Primary Care Clinic:
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment to cover a maternity leave at our Bridgeport, CT clinic. This position requires an LPN with strong primary care experience, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work a defined, full-time schedule.

- Duration: 13 Weeks (Approximately 12/29/2025 – 03/30/2026)
- Employment Type: Contract (Not Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule & Hours (5 x 8-hour shifts/40 hours per week)
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week on the AM shift. On-call is not required. The standard meal duration is 30 minutes.
- Monday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
The LPN will perform standard clinical duties within a primary care setting, which may include:
- Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
- Taking and documenting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Administering medications and injections as directed.
- Performing basic wound care and other delegated clinical procedures.
- Assisting providers with exams and minor procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and organized patient records.
- Ensuring a clean, organized, and stocked clinical environment.
Qualifications
- License: Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN is required.
- Pediatric experience is preferred.
- Location Requirement: Must be a local candidate living within a 45-minute commuting distance of the clinic (Bridgeport, CT).
