Unit: Endoscopy

Clinical Interviews

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS

Experience Required: 2 years in endoscopy/pre/post.  Must be comfortable with pre-op and Phase 2 recovery. Starting IVs, general pre and post skills. EPIC Lumens experience preferred, general EPIC experience required (EPIC Lumens is endoscopy version of EPIC).

RN:

Pre: 1:1 until patient goes back

Patient Types: Adults only. Will be doing pre and post procedure. If traveler is comfortable in the procedure room, they might be utilized, but this position is specifically for pre and post procedures. EGDs, bronchs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, G/GJ tube exchanges.  ERCP and bronchs will be general anesthesia. Patients will go to Phase 1 PACU first and then come for Phase 2/discharge here. Could see some high acuity patients so must be comfortable in recovery for these.

Floating: Could float to the outpatient center at the hospital. Would know at least a day in advance if needed over there. Would still just be doing pre/post there too.
