Neuro Interventional Radiology – Crouse Hospital Position: RN or IR Technologist (as applicable) Unit: Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) Care Focus: Endovascular patients, diagnostic and interventional neuro procedures Traveler Requirements RN Requirements Certifications: Active & clear RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience: Neuro ICU experience required Preferred: 2+ years Neuro IR, radiology, IR/Cath Lab experience Charting: Cerner Dress Code: Hospital-provided procedural scrubs Technologist Requirements Certifications: BLS ARRT ARRT VI (preferred; determined during interview) Skills Required: Strong sterile/scrub technique Siemens equipment Knowledge of Neuro IR procedures EPIC (required) EPIC Cupid (preferred) Stroke experience Procedure circulation Equipment: Alaris, Omnicell Experience & Travel Rules Will accept traveler with 1 year experience? Tech: Yes, but MUST have Neuro IR experience IR-only experience is not accepted First-time traveler accepted? Tech: Yes Traveler Distance Rule: Must live 100+ miles from facility Return Rule: Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as travelers
