Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing rehabilitation team. The PTA will implement patient treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life in a post-acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the therapy team
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support patient goals
- Provide education to patients and caregivers related to therapy programs
Requirements
- Active state PTA license
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Must be able to work variable shifts
- No bilingual requirement
- Holiday coverage not required
