Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a skilled nursing rehabilitation team for a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to support patient-centered care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals, and help individuals regain independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Support patients in developing and improving daily living and functional abilities.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in care coordination and communication with facility staff.
• Promote patient safety and compliance with rehabilitation goals.

Schedule

• Shift varies (based on facility needs)
• No holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active state COTA license
• Less than 1 year of experience required (new graduates welcome)
• Ability to maintain professional communication and documentation standards
• EMR experience preferred but not required
