Travel CST/ORT Opportunity - Indiana, Valparaiso

Position Details

  • Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
  • Location: Valparaiso, Indiana
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shift: Days (varies), approximately 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Call Requirements: Varies; includes call during weekdays and weekends
  • Floating: Not required
  • Block Scheduling: Not available
  • Orientation: 2 days
  • Unit Size: 12 beds
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1
  • Scrub Color: Light blue (provided)
  • EMR System: Cerner

Requirements

  • CST certification from NBSTSA required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
  • Required to submit licenses and certifications with application (including driver's license and permanent home address matching ID)

  • Da Vinci robotic surgery

Additional Information

  • Maximum Return to Office (RTO) allowed: 2 days
  • RTO blackout dates or required holidays apply
  • Guaranteed hours: 72 hours bi-weekly (96 hours bi-weekly not an option)

This role involves performing general OR cases with a focus on a variety of surgical specialties.
