Facility name- Henry Ford Hospital (Henry Ford Health System)
Location- 22101 Moross Rd Detroit, MI 48236
Shift- 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay Term- Weekly (By Every Friday)
Benefits: Paid orientation & sick leave (13)

W2-$16/hr
Stipend- $490/week

Job Description:

Education Requirements

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent
PLUS one of the following:
Completion of an Aide training program, OR
Completion of a Central Technician program, OR
Minimum 6 months of experience in Central Supply

Certifications (Required)

NICHSPDP Certification (qualifying certification for CSP Tech)

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and interpret temperature gauges.
Minimum 5 years sterile processing experience (per schedule notes).

Responsibilities

Clean, sterilize, assemble, and package instruments and medical devices according to departmental standards.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of sterile supplies.
Operate sterilization equipment and read temperature gauges accurately.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Support surgical teams by ensuring timely delivery of sterile instruments.
Adhere to all infection control and sterilization protocols.
