Description
We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations, deliver exceptional patient care, and maintain a safe, efficient MRI environment. You will work closely with our radiology team to support accurate imaging and smooth daily workflow.
Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols
• Position patients and imaging coils for optimal diagnostic quality
• Provide clear instructions and education to patients regarding procedures and safety
• Ensure all images are correctly labeled and transmitted to PACS
• Assess image quality and completeness before releasing patients
• Document procedures accurately within IDX/RIS
• Maintain cleanliness of the MRI suite and replenish necessary supplies
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
• Adhere to all MRI safety standards and infection control policies
Requirements:
• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
• ARRT MRI certification
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging principles
• Excellent technical skills with the ability to work independently and provide high-quality patient care
