Job Title:
Radiology Technologist | 7AM-7PM Set Rotation | $65.60/hr | Shreveport, Louisiana
Job Description:
A travel Radiology Technologist assignment is now available in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role is ideal for a radiographer with strong clinical experience who is comfortable performing a variety of diagnostic procedures in an acute hospital environment. Candidates must have the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with patient care standards.
The ideal professional is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident operating imaging equipment while ensuring high-quality patient service.
Schedule and Assignment Details:
- Full-time travel assignment
- Shift: 7AM - 7PM with a structured rotating schedule
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Call requirement: 1 to 2 nights weekly
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- No block scheduling
Hourly Pay:
$65.60/hr

Role Summary:
The Radiology Technologist will perform routine to advanced imaging studies, support patient flow, and ensure accurate image processing and storage. The role includes troubleshooting, compliance with regulatory standards, participation in QA processes, and equipment support as needed. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, confidentiality, and adaptability across varying patient needs and imaging environments.
Requirements:
- Certification: ARRT (R) required
- State radiology license required
- BLS required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred
- Experience with PACS and basic computer systems preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately
- Support interdisciplinary teams including radiologists and nurses
- Adapt techniques based on patient condition and clinical need
- Maintain compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Assist with PACS workflow and follow downtime procedures
- Participate in continuing professional education as required

- Comfortable managing 15 to 20 studies daily
- Flexible with rotating schedules and call assignments
