Travel OR RN – C-Section/Scrub & Circ (4x8s)

Assignment Details

• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Main OR (C-Section & General OR)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x8s – 8:30a–5:00p
• Hours: 32–40 hrs/week (standard 4x8s; option for 32/40 hr rotation – 32 hrs one week / 40 hrs the next, if approved by manager)
• Call: On-call 1–2x/week + every 4th weekend

Schedule Note:
If you have a candidate interested in 36 hrs averaged over two weeks (32/40 rotation), please still submit. Manager will review profile and current unit needs.

Unit / OR Details

• # of ORs: 4 OR rooms total
  • 3 rooms used regularly
  • 1 dedicated OR always on standby for C-sections
• Cases / Procedures:
  • Major cases: Gastric sleeves, C-sections
  • No cardiology, no trauma
  • Ortho: All types of orthopedic procedures
  • ENT & Cataracts
  • GYN
  • General Surgery
• Charting System: Allscripts Paragon

Required Experience

• Must have C-section experience
• Must have BOTH Scrub and Circulate experience in the OR
• Candidates should be comfortable rotating between main OR and C-section OR as needed

Important Submission Requirement:

Certifications (Required)

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP

Ideal Traveler Profile

• Experienced OR RN who can scrub and circulate independently in a variety of specialties
• Confident with OB/C-section cases as well as general, ortho, ENT, cataracts, and GYN
• Flexible with call and willing to support C-section standby room as needed
• Team-oriented, communicates well with surgeons, anesthesia, and L&D/OB staff
