<h2><strong>Job Duties</strong></h2><ul><li>Perform MRI examinations for inpatient and outpatient populations according to Radiologist orders and departmental protocols.</li><li>Adjust imaging parameters to obtain high-quality studies of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast.</li><li>Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, following all MRI safety standards.</li><li>Prepare and position patients appropriately, ensuring comfort and accurate anatomical imaging.</li><li>Administer or assist with contrast media per protocol and monitor patients for reactions.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient documentation within the facility’s EMR.</li><li>Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure timely workflow.</li><li>Uphold department policies, maintain cleanliness of MRI suite, and ensure equipment functionality.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>Required:</strong><ul><li>AR state Radiologic Technologist license (may be obtained prior to start).</li><li>ARRT(MR) <strong>or</strong> ARMRIT certification.<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.</li><li>ARRT registered technologist (RT) with MRI (MR) registry.</li><li>Current state general radiographer license.</li></ul></li></ul></li></ul>
