Responsible for performing nuclear medicine exams at a technical level that ensures high-quality diagnostic images while following all policies, procedures, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include: Performing diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and preparing/handling radiopharmaceuticals. Obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort. Operating, maintaining, and performing routine checks on nuclear imaging equipment. Practicing radiation safety and completing all required quality assurance tasks. Documenting all exams, logs, and records accurately. Maintaining adequate supplies and assisting other radiology areas as needed. Performing other related duties as assigned.
