Description

Job Title: OR Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) – Day Shift (5x8s)
Shift: 5x8s Day Shift (Variable start time: 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM)
Position Urgency: Quick Start
No Call / No Weekends

Schedule Details

Shift: 5x 8-hour day shifts
Start Times: 07:00 or 11:00 (variable)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
No call or weekend coverage required
Holiday coverage required

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during operative procedures by preparing and organizing the OR environment.
Maintain sterile fields and ensure proper surgical instrumentation setup.
Collaborate with RNs, surgeons, and anesthesia providers for smooth OR workflow.
Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection prevention guidelines, and documentation requirements in EPIC EMR.
Support turnover and restocking of the OR as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent OR/Scrub Tech experience
CST – Certified Surgical Technologist (Required)
Active California Certification/License
BLS/BCLS Certification
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Must meet all compliance requirements per facility guidelines
