MS/TELEMETRY RN

DESCRIPTION:

Position: Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse
Start Date: January 12 (Hard Start — no flexibility)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Floating: May float as needed within scope

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients
Accurately read and interpret cardiac rhythms/strips
Care for moderate-volume orthopedic surgical patients
Manage patients with total joint ortho care needs (experience required)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to units as needed within competency

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years Telemetry RN experience
Ability to interpret EKG and cardiac monitoring strips independently
Experience caring for Med Surg and orthopedic surgical patients
Total joint ortho experience required

Certifications Required

ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
