Description

Job Duties

Perform routine and advanced MRI examinations independently during high-volume weekend night shifts.
Operate Siemens MRI systems and adjust scan parameters to ensure optimal image quality.
Screen all patients and visitors for MRI safety compliance; monitor patients throughout the exam.
Position patients properly and ensure comfort while maintaining accurate anatomical alignment.
Follow department protocols and radiologist instructions for all MRI procedures.
Document imaging procedures in the facility’s EMR/PACS per hospital standards.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of MRI equipment and work area.
Collaborate with weekend nursing, ED, and inpatient teams to support workflow and timely imaging.

Qualifications

Certification: ARRT(MR) required (MRI-registered technologist).
Experience: Prior Siemens MRI experience required; must be comfortable working independently on weekend overnights.
