Position Overview

TriCities Hospital is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for a seasonal travel assignment starting January 5th. Unit Details – PCU

• Beds: 4-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Ratios: 1 RN : 4 patients
• Support Staff: 1 RN + 1 Tech per shift
• Floating: May float to Med-Surg/Tele as needed
• EMR: Meditech
• Schedule: 3×12s, rotating weekends
• Patient Experience Expectations:
  • Bedside shift report
  • Maintain updated patient whiteboards
  • Build personal patient connections each shift

Required Experience

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years of recent PCU experience
• Strong clinical judgment, ability to work independently, and high-level patient interaction
• Comfortable with floating to Med-Surg/Tele if required

Certifications

• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NIH- Required

Dress Code

• Black scrubs

Compensation

• W2 Pay Rate: $28/hr
• Weekly gross based on 36 hours
