Description

Requirements:

Certs: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS
Licensure: Must have Compact License
2+ solid years Stepdown
1 travel contract (will accept 5 years of solid Stepdown if no travel experience)
EMR: EPIC (must have recent experience)

Skillset:

Tele/12-Lead EKG interpretation
Post heart cath care
Initiate/titrate drips
NIHSS/strong neuro assessments
Sepsis care
Chest tubes
PIV insertion
Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Patient Population:

Post procedure cardiac (cath/stents/interventions, pacers, ICD, ablation)
Identify/care of STEMI/NSTEMI
Carotid endarterectomy
Sepsis
Neuro (CVAs, seizures, possible TBI)
DKA
