  • Shift: 12 hours, rotating
Contract Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments (guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked). Comments: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. 8-hour rotating FLEX HOURS (assigned wherever most critical) — may include night shifts; weekends included. Flu vaccine required prior to start (season begins 09/02); medical exemptions accepted. Epic experience required. Experience with GE and Siemens 1.5T & 3T MRI scanners required. Schedule: Sat 6:30a–9p, Sun 6:30a–9p, Mon 6:30a–7p. Fast-paced environment — must be able to work independently. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of related MRI experience. ARRT certification required. BLS (AHA) required. No local travelers (must reside at least 50 miles from the facility). Will not consider candidates who have worked at any BILH facility within the last six months (perm only). Essential Responsibilities: Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, including setup of equipment (coils, monitoring devices, etc.). Screen patients and personnel for ferrous metal implants or contraindications. Select and document appropriate pulse sequences; recommend protocol adjustments when needed. Evaluate scan results for quality and completeness; manipulate images for review and ensure timely PACS upload. Provide patient communication, support, and monitoring; respond to physical/psychological needs. Start IV lines for contrast administration and monitor for reactions. Maintain accurate records, procedure data, statistics, and correct computer documentation. Participate in teaching/training of students and technologists. Engage in ongoing educational activities. Interviews: Nurse Manager will interview and offer. Please provide candidate interview availability (dates/times) at time of submission. RTO: All requested time off must be included at submission. No additional RTO will be approved afterward.
