Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Des Moines, IA 50309
13-Week Travel Contract | Days | 3x12s | 36 hrs/week

Pay Package: $3,900/week

W2 Rate: $48/hr
Travel Stipend: $1,404/week
Overtime: $72/hr.
Holiday/Callback: $96/hr
On Call: $8/hr

Facility & Unit Details:

12-bed private-room PICU in a modern pediatric facility
Care for critically ill infants, children and teens
State-of-the-art equipment with family-centered design
May float to NICU (feeders and growers level; stable infants only), and ED holds

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years recent PICU experience
Active Iowa RN or Compact License
BLS & PALS (AHA required)
EPIC EMR experience
Must be willing to float to NICU and ED holds

Overview:

PICU staffed with pediatric critical care physicians and supported by a pediatric transport team.
New unit opened March 2017 with single rooms, family amenities, and advanced monitoring systems.
