Description

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP
Location: Belleville, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts, 10-hour shifts (4x10)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
Monitor patient vitals and manage post-procedure recovery in a busy acute care hospital setting.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care during procedures.
Float within scope between facilities as needed to meet operational demands.
Assist with radial access procedures and sheath pulls, following established protocols.
Adhere to infection control standards, including use of designated scrub colors and charting with EPIC.

Required Qualifications:

Valid nursing license for the state of Illinois.
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in cardiac Cath lab or electrophysiology.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
On-call availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, including procedural support and emergency call.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Radial access experience and sheath pull procedures.
Experienced with TR bands or similar hemostasis devices.
Familiarity with EPIC charting system.

$2852 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend. IDEAL JOB ID: 3024145
