Travel RN OR

Location: San Angelo, TX 

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Hybrid rotation between two shifts:

• 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM
• 10:30 AM – 07:00 PM
  • (Candidates will rotate between these shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, ensuring all instrumentation and supplies are available and sterile techniques are maintained.
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall stability throughout procedures.
• Document all patient interactions, observations, and interventions accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
• Participate in call and holiday coverage as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
• Adhere to institutional policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of OR nursing experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if strong skills are demonstrated in specialties such as neuro, ortho, trauma, or robotics.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice; active and in good standing.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys submission required.
• RN license must be in hand and verified prior to start.
• Experience with robotics, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, or neuro-surgical procedures is a plus.
• Ability to complete required lab documentation within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place.
• Travel experience highly preferred.
