Description
Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Plymouth, MA
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Weekends & holidays required
Interview: Nurse Manager will interview & offer directly
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PACU RN to join a high-acuity Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The ideal candidate must be clinically strong, experienced with drips and ventilators, and prepared to meet all onboarding requirements—including mandatory testing.
Required Certifications (Must be included at submission):
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- MA RN License (active)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Candidates will not be considered without these certifications at the time of submission.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of recent PACU experience
- Experience managing patients on drips and ventilators
- Must be fully prepared to test during onboarding
- Travelers must have been separated from BILH for at least 6 months
Testing Requirements (PASS/FAIL):
Required during onboarding – ONE attempt only
- ECG/Telemetry Test (20 questions)
- Medications Test (20 questions)
- Administered via Zoom Protector meeting prior to assignment
- Must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation
- Passing score: 85% or higher
- No remediation or retesting allowed
- A study guide with tips & answers is provided by the client
RN must be prepared—failure results in immediate cancellation.
Shift & Call Requirements:
- 12-hour shifts
- Weekends & holidays required
- Call Requirements:
- One 24-hour weekend call shift per month
- Three night calls per month (11 PM – 7 AM)
- 30-minute response time required
- Additional call based on department needs
Additional Requirements:
- NO holiday time off
- More than 1 week RTO will not be approved
- ALL RTOs must be provided at submission
- No local travelers (must live 50+ miles from facility)
- Provide dates & times available for interview at submission
