Description

Travel RN ICU

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
Perform advanced procedures such as central line and arterial line placements, intubations, and EVD (External Ventricular Drain) care
Monitor patient vital signs and laboratory results, promptly addressing changes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
Adhere to all unit policies, protocols, and safety guidelines
Participate in weekend shifts and on-call rotations as scheduled (minimum four weekends per schedule period)

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Valid RN license with current accreditation
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience in a hospital setting
Basic life support certification (BLS)
ACLS certification (required)
Knowledge of standard ICU procedures and equipment

Preferred Skills (Highly Valued):

Experience with Meditech EMR system
Oncology or Neuro ICU experience
Additional certifications (e.g., PALS, TNCC) are a plus
