Job Opportunity: Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) – No local travelers (must live 50+ miles away)
Shift: 10-hour Day Shift
- 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM or
- *8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Orientation: Every other week – 01/15, 01/29, 02/12
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. This role requires evaluating patients, developing individualized plans of care, and delivering comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments to individuals with a wide range of diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed patient evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Document all clinical care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, flexibility, and clinical judgment
Required Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts PT License
- CPR Certification
- Inpatient Physical Therapy experience required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
