Travel RN ICU

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver total patient care for ICU patients, managing ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and hygiene needs.
• Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and clinical changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and documentation standards utilizing MedHost EMR.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Urestricted RN License New Mexico (Compact)
• Minimum of 2+ years of ICU experience, with strong proficiency in ventilator management and titratable drips.
• Experience in ER and Medical-Surgical units preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Ability to float to ER and MS departments as needed.
• Comfortable working in a 12-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 1:2-3.
• Experience with ventilators, medication mixing, patient hygiene, and titratable drips is highly desirable.
• Must have fingerprint clearance (required for all New Mexico travel nurses).
• Ability to work holidays required.
