MRI Technologist Job Description Performs MRI imaging procedures efficiently and safely for patients across all age groups, including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Conducts imaging exams and procedures with accuracy while appropriately applying critical thinking skills. Identifies and responds effectively to emergent or urgent situations. Maintains accurate and complete medical records while ensuring all patient information remains confidential. Utilizes imaging and hospital computer systems correctly and efficiently. Interacts professionally with physicians, team members, patients, and families at all times. Has access to and appropriately handles medications within the scope of job responsibilities. Performs additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and departmental needs. Demonstrates proficiency in all skills listed in the designated position skills checklist. Maintains and updates skill competency, including making improvements where required and acquiring new skills as needed according to the position skills list.
