Job Description:

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- CRCST (IAHCSMM)
Experience Requirements:
- MUST have GI endoscope reprocessing experience
- Preferred: Steris, Medivator, Sterrad
- Preferred: Robotic and eye instrumentation experience
License to Submit: Not required
BSN Required: No

Position Details

Unit: Sterile Processing Tech
Unit Type: OR (Operating Room)
Care Setting: Acute Care
Trauma Level: CAH
Charting System: EPIC
Orientation: Hospital orientation + department competency check (up to 2 weeks; usually shorter for experienced techs)

Duties:
All reprocessing responsibilities. No case cart or supply management duties.

Common Equipment/Sterilization:
Steris, Medivator, Sterrad.
