Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift/Schedule: Day shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (4X9s)
- Job Description: -
- Assess, treat, and educate patients in areas such as independent living, cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, and assistive equipment use.
- Evaluate patients, set treatment goals, and perform skilled physical assessments.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to students, assistants, and technicians.
- Reassess patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:Required Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school is required.
Preferred Education:
-Masters' degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Current/valid state Occupational Therapist licensure is required.
-BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
-Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) endorsed by the American Heart Association.
