• Shift: Days, 4X10, (will be scheduled between 0600-1900)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Weekend Hours: As required by facility
• Call Requirements: rotational night, weekend, and holiday call. On call consists of – 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month (4 week schedule period). May pick up extra call if desired.
• Required Licensure: CORST, CST or TSC - must be certified

• Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only

• Preferred Certifications:
• Years of Experience: 1 year plus CVOR Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting; 1 year cardiothoracic experience, needs open heart experience
• Float Requirements: As required by facility

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year plus Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting, Open Heart & Thoracic procedures
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2 year plus. ECMO, Impella insertion, Robotics, CABG, Valve Replacement, VATS, Robotics, Lung Resection, Aortic Aneurysm Repair
• Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiothoracic

• Personality Fit: Pace paced
