Tripod Partners is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong technical proficiency, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to supporting radiology services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer oral contrast to patients as required per exam protocols.
• Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations; assist Radiologists during procedures.
• Operate all X-ray equipment, including CR and DR systems, demonstrating full competence and proficiency.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the manager or lead technologist.
• Complete assigned procedures efficiently and utilize downtime to assist colleagues, perform clerical tasks, stock supplies, and transport patients.
• Maintain medication security, ensuring access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• Provide health care services competently to patients of all age groups.
• Exhibit professionalism and effective interpersonal skills across all age groups.

Documentation & Information Management:

• Competently use Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and PACS.
• Participate in hospital performance improvement initiatives, including BPI projects and task forces.
• Maintain confidentiality, using personal passwords and safeguarding all patient care information.
• Answer technical phone inquiries from physicians and hospital staff with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license
