Job Description:
Telemetry experience is required.
Must have acute care experience.
NO block scheduling.
Floating Required: Yes
Scrub Color: Any color
Must work every other major holiday
Submission Requirements:
2+ year(s) of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry. Willing to accept first time travelers.
AHA BLS is required. AHA ACLS is preferred.
Flu vaccine required during season.
MA license required
EMR Exp Preferred: EPIC
Unit Specifics:
Common patient diagnosis: Alcohol abuse, COPD, DM, CHF, Sepsis, & Pneumonia.
Must have experience administering: Antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood, lasix, amiodarone.
Specialty equipment: Pyxis, Zebra scanners, bladder scanners, dopplers, general medical equipment.
Orientation: Hospital orientation followed by two shifts on the unit with a preceptor.
