CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced CVOR CST who can scrub cardiac and/or vascular cases as a priority, including:
- Cardiac surgery & cardiac transplant
- Valve replacement experience (MUST HAVE)
- Open vascular & endovascular surgery
- Thoracic surgery & thoracic robotics
- General surgery
This position requires a strong background in high-acuity CVOR environments, the ability to take cardiac/cardiac transplant call, and comfort working in a teaching hospital setting.
Schedule
Primary:
- 4x10s
- 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (primary shift)
- 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM on Wednesdays
- Rotations to 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM as needed
Weekends:
- One weekend per month covering Cardiac, Cardiac Transplant, or Endovascular
Call Requirements:
- Fri 7:00 PM – Mon 7:00 AM (30-minute response time required)
- One 2-hour CVI short call per week
- 5:15 PM–7:15 PM OR
- 6:00 PM–8:00 PM (Wednesdays)
- One night per week CVI call:
- 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM – 6:45/7:00 AM
- (Cardiac, Cardiac Transplant, or Endovascular)
Holidays:
- Must be available to work any holidays during the contract
