Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our dedicated care team on the night shift. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care, support patient recovery, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary staff. Previous Medical Surgical experience is required. Telemetry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and clinical support to adult Med Surg patients
Monitor, assess, and record patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications and manage IV therapies
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop care plans
Maintain accurate and complete documentation
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
Work every other weekend as scheduled
Comply with state-mandated immunization requirements

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Surgical experience (required)
Telemetry experience (preferred)
Active and unrestricted RN state license
ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
Must comply with state-required flu vaccination

Additional Details

No block scheduling
No on-call requirement
26-week contract
