Job Title: LPN
Location: Vestal, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening-2:45pm-11:15pm


Job Description:
The LPN is responsible for providing nursing care and supporting the treatment of residents. Work is performed under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, with possible oversight of Nursing Assistants and unit helpers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist new residents with orientation to the unit
• Report and document changes in resident condition
• Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and care team
• Observe, record, and update resident care plans
• Administer medications (excluding IV) and monitor for side effects
• Maintain accurate nursing and administrative records
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training

Qualifications:

• Completion of an approved NYS LPN program
• NYS LPN license or limited permit (license required within 6 months)
• Strong communication, observation, and clinical skills
